The Valley Journals has launched the papers’ first ever pledge drive.
All The Valley Journals publications are delivered free of charge to every home and business in their coverage area. As such, there is no subscription base to supplement advertising revenues.
In the past, such TVJ predecessors as The Green Sheet would hold periodic pledge drives, in addition to having carriers deliver donation envelopes door to door.
Surveys have shown that the Journals are the most well-read papers in the state with 1.8 readers per issue compared to .85 for the competition.
