Make and Take Coloring. Come on in and practice your coordination and creativity as you use colored pencils to color a picture.

Spatial Relationships: Guess How Many. Come on in and guess how many candies are in the jar. Guess correctly and at the end of the month, you could win them all.

Dream Big: Science Camp. Explore, wonder, and develop your scientific method with this week-long program of hands-on science activities. Must be able to attend all four days.

July 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 10 a.m.1st and 2nd graders

Camp Fun to Read. Combat the summer slide in skill level with fun books, stories, games and activities. This reading immersion camp is for new readers who are in the summer between first and second grade (are going into second grade this coming school year). Must be able to attend each day, Monday through Friday.

July 16, 7 p.m.Adults

Wasatch Fish and Stream. Curious about the kinds of fish you'll find in Wasatch streams? Wondering how they compare to days of yore? Join Paul Cowley of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest for this look at the area's fish species through time and into the future, and the things that affect them. The program will emphasize Mill Creek while providing general information about the fish along the Wasatch Front.

July 17, 7 p.m.Ages 16 and up

So You Think You Can Write. Follow your dream of being a writer. Join multi-published, award-winning sweet romance author, Cindy Christiansen, for an hour-long informal class to discover what you should know before taking the plunge.

July 19, 1 p.m.Teens

Aug. 4, 2 p.m.

Dreaming in 4D (Gamin’ Ride). Immerse yourself in a 4D interactive game experience courtesy of vibrating simulation seating, game scents and XBOX 360, PS3 and Wii and the ultimate in high definition gaming. Ticket required. Tickets will be available at the information desk 30 minutes in advance.

Pajama-rama Storytime. An evening storytime for the whole family. Kids, come in your PJs if you want. Join us for stories, rhymes and lots of fun!

Aug. 3, 10:30 a.m.Elementary ages

Meet the Baseball Bees. Join a player from the Salt Lake Bees for this program geared to elementary-age kids. If you'd like a baseball autographed, bring it along, and come prepared with any questions you've got for a professional player. Photo opportunity if you bring your camera.

Aug. 7, 10:30 a.m.Families

The Reptile Guy. Corbin Maxey and his reptile friends are coming to town. Bring the whole family for up-close encounters with some of the world's most unusual reptiles. Corbin and his critters are regular guests on the Today Show. Photo op afterward with Scooter, the green iguana.

Aug. 7, 7 p.m.Families

Wonderful Wasatch. Learn about where you live. Animals, plants, geology, places to hike, the water you drink—each month's program will deal with a different topic of interest to residents of the Wasatch.

Aug. 8, 2 p.m.Families

Classic Movie Matinees. Classic movie matinees for any age.
