Mayor to meet with the community

Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams will introduce himself to township residents, including those in the Millcreek Township, in a State of the Township address as he travels to various communities during late-February and early-March.

Recognizing that the county has two functions: a regional government for the Salt Lake Valley and essentially a city government for unincorporated areas, McAdams plans to discuss ideas and goals specific to each area. He looks forward to meeting with individual residents to get feedback on their specific area and how the county can help.

Millcreek’s meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the      Millcreek Community Center, 2266 East Evergreen Ave. (3435 South).
