Murray Concert Band performing Feb. 6

The winter concert of the Murray Concert Band will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, at Murray High School, 5440 South State, at 7:30 p.m.

Selections will include "Marche Militaire Francaise" by Saint-Seans, highlights from the musical "Camelot" and three contemporary pieces. Bassoon soloist Ken Anderson will be accompanied by the band on "The Old Grumpy Bear."

The concert is free to the public, though donations for the band are appreciated. The Murray Concert Band was started in 1986 and performs at community events throughout the year.
