East Valley Chamber Corner

The East Valley Ambassadors were happy to celebrate along with Planet Fitness at their recent ribbon cutting celebration. Costco provided a yummy cake for those who attended (that we could work off later at Planet Fitness). Mayor Peter Corroon, Salt Lake County Councilmember Jani Iwamoto and Sen. Ross Romero attended as well as Chair Jeff Silvestrini from the Mount Olympus Community Council among many others.

The chamber has already held our networking lunches at Marie Callendar’s, an East Valley Chamber member, and a number of businesses have joined alongside the existing members. There is quite a bit of excitement in the greater business community as for the first time, businesses can join multiple chambers with just a single membership.

The chamber is planning a no-cost “Getting to Know the East Valley Chamber” for March which includes lunch, committee representatives, new chamber members and potential chamber members who desire to learn more about the services the chamber offers the business community. Attendees receive information they can use to better their businesses as well as meet new business owners and representatives.
